Say hello to one of WrestleMania's best undercard stories.

Chris Jericho and Christian got the ball rolling by placing a laddish bet on who could woo Trish Stratus. Lita was involved too, but most of the focus was put on Trish. It wasn't long before 'Y2J' started to get genuine feelings for Stratus though, and that heartfelt tenderness would be used against the Canadian when two other Canadians screwed him over at the pay-per-view. Following along?

In all seriousness, this was strong stuff, and the match between Jericho and Christian was technically robust to boot. Little touches, like a ticked off Chris holding onto his Walls Of Jericho a little longer than necessary, really added to the spectacle. Then, come the finish, Stratus "accidentally" caused Jericho to lose. Heartbroken and searching for answers, 'Y2J's' nightmare would spring to life when Trish slapped the hell out of him then made out with his best friend on stage in front of the entire world.

This let the commentators give Stratus both barrels by proclaiming her a vicious little witch like they had when she was twisting everyone around her little finger as a heel back in 2000-2001. Superb character work and great pro wrestling is some combination. That's why this match is on the list - it was a fine use of all three workers when they easily could've been placed in a nothing Battle Royal or one of the overstuffed tag-team bouts on the show.

Jericho's face when he saw a smiling Trish kissing Christian was spot on. Not a bad evening for ol' Christian Cage either, to be fair.
