This was something else.

Edge and Jeff Hardy had to get every single movement of their banner spot bang on or they'd be risking serious injury and possibly even death. That sounds dramatic, but it's true. The risk of one or both suffering a broken neck was eerily high. There was no way to escape fact: Pain was incoming. The eager to please pair just had to try and mitigate the amount of agony they'd experience when falling from such a terrifying height.

Jeff was trying to pull down one of the tag title belts when a ladder was kicked out from underneath him. Holding on for dear life, Hardy started flailing his legs and swinging to haul the thing down. That's when Edge leapt off another ladder in the corner and hit a picture perfect spear on his peer that really had to be on the money or else. Collectively, millions held their breath, and it felt like the duo were falling from the skies forever.

Serious credit must be given to Jeff for tightening his core enough that he'd be still (or as still as possible when clutching onto a dangling title belt) so Edge could pick his target. Similarly, the future 'Rated-R Superstar' deserved a pat on the back for making sure to time his jump in accordance with Hardy swinging towards him. That meant they'd fall in tandem, at least.

Jeff sustained a hellish back bump, but Edge pretty much took a face plant/DDT off the ladder himself. What a ballsy spot, one that was performed as safely (ha!) as possible.
