100 Wrestlers NOT In WWE Hall Of Fame - Ranked
88. Jack Tunney
Why They SHOULD Be In:
In real life, he was a respected promoter in Canada in and outside of WWE's auspices. In kayfabe, Tunney was one of the organisation's best ever authority figures - he was, for the most part, a still point in the turning World Wrestling Federation, rather than the talking props that followed him post-Mr McMahon.
Why They AREN'T In:
Tunney's 1995 exit was mired by ill-feeling when the company closed the Toronto office and freed him of any further duties. His 2004 passing wasn't acknowledged on television, though this could have been an oversight rather than a cold statement of their indifference towards his death.
