100 Wrestlers NOT In WWE Hall Of Fame - Ranked
86. Shane Douglas
Why They SHOULD Be In:
Shane Douglas' star burned briefly but with blinding brightness at the height of ECW fame. There were few voices as vital in North America with both WWE and WCW still trapped in reductive creative and commercial nadirs.
Why They AREN'T In:
'The Franchise' is often considered one of the great Paul Heyman smoke-and-mirror creations, and there's some merit to that. Long on the outside of WWE's walls after a disastrous 1995 run as Dean Douglas, he set up opposing events when the company relaunched ECW in the mid-2000s, and has worked for just about everybody but Vince McMahon ever since his acrimonious release.
