'The Man Of 1,000 Holds' was no joke until Chris Jericho made a p*ss funny punchline out of it and Vince McMahon read the strong silent type as a James Bond trait. 'Dean Malenko: Mad Shagger' stunted his trajectory, to say the least.

Why They AREN'T In:

Familiarity may have undermined fondness - Malenko effortlessly switched over to a Producer's role following his quiet retirement and was part of the furniture for a year. Much like his on-screen persona, he possibly moves too silently to gain the recognition required for an induction. Malenko has also worked for AEW since 2019.
