Adrian Adonis was a skilled heavyweight heel before greater girth gain resulted in Vince McMahon saddling him with an effeminate gimmick in what many presumed to be punishment booking. Adonis was so effective in the role that he commanded a major match on one of the company's biggest ever events. His WrestleMania III clash with Roddy Piper is one of the best on the entire card.
