100 Wrestlers NOT In WWE Hall Of Fame - Ranked
49. Earl Hebner
Why They SHOULD Be In:
Few referees become famous let alone infamous, but Earl Hebner did both as one of the most recognisable men-in-the-middle in company history. Away from his role in the Montreal Screwjob, Hebner was loved by the wrestlers themselves - a underrated stamp of approval those of us on the other side of the barrier can never fully understand.
Why They AREN'T In:
Earl and brother Dave were thought to be company lifers until their bizarre 2005 firing. The duo were found flogging official WWE merchandise without permission, and though they've retained employment ever since, it's not been with Vince McMahon.
