100 Wrestlers NOT In WWE Hall Of Fame - Ranked
22. Giant Baba
Why They SHOULD Be In:
'Giant' Shohei Baba was a pivotal figure in Japanese pro-wrestling's rise. As All Japan Pro Wrestling's co-founder, he was a respected and revered promoter whose influence helped craft one of the most important promotional runs ever, as AJPW sent puroresu stratospheric in the '80s and '90s. In the ring, Baba was a real spectacle performer, a major star, and a real in-ring scientist despite his towering 6'10" frame.
Why They AREN'T In:
Baba barely worked in the United States, though he did once challenge Bruno Sammartino inside Madison Square Garden. His immense Japanese legacy means little to the average WWE casual.
