100 Wrestlers NOT In WWE Hall Of Fame - Ranked
54. Jerry Jarrett
Why They SHOULD Be In:
Jeff Jarrett Sr. found great success as a promoter in the Memphis territories throughout the '70s and '80s, earning a reputation as one of the sharpest minds in the sport. His prosperity survived beyond all other territories and into the '90s. Later, he'd form Total Nonstop Action, though he sold his controlling share to Panda Energy just a few months in. He's survived by his airtight "Personal Issues Draw Money" maxim.
He also spawned the greatest worker in the history of This Business.
Why They AREN'T In:
WWE probably don't love the commonly-held belief that he was the man to lead the charge if Vince McMahon had gone to prison in 1994. It's a big part of Jerry's story with the company, but doesn't jive with their closed-shop vanity.
