Where the WWF had Undertaker for its lights out attacks, World Championship Wrestling had Sting. Once he took on his Crow-inspired persona, Sting controlling the arena lights became common place, and when he finally made his arrival in the WWE he brought this ability with him.

Randy Orton was surrounded, his former buddies in The Authority had had enough of his conniving and The Viper was about to receive the beating of a lifetime.

Kane, Big Show, Seth Rollins, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury were on the apron, each on a side of the ring ready to pounce. As soon as they stepped through the ropes a familiar call was heard and darkness fell.

When light returned, Orton wasn't alone. The Viper was standing next to the Vigilante, as back up was found from a most unlikely source. Sting and Orton fought off the bad guys, and the road to WrestleMania became clearer for both men.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
