Stone Cold Steve Austin infamously quit WWE in 2002, after being booked to lose to Brock Lesnar on Raw. At the time, Lesnar was only a few months into his career, but was being pushed with an obvious direction to imminent main event gold. Austin felt like the timing was all wrong, he felt that the match should have been built up and advertised for pay per view. He only wanted to put guys over in meaningful situations. Rather than do the match, he walked out. He should ask if Lesnar felt hurt or disrespected by the walk out.
