11 Biggest Missteps On The Road To WrestleMania 38

9. Celebrity Involvement

WrestleMania always has had celebrities and non-wrestling personalities involved in some capacity. Nearly every Mania has one mainstream celebrity figure, even if it’s some D-list reality TV star. (No, Miz doesn’t count.)

Taken individually, the inclusion of Logan Paul, Johnny Knoxville or Pat McAfee in WrestleMania 38 are fine ideas. Each one can carry themselves through a smoke-and-mirrors match that has the potential to over-deliver.

But booking all three men in matches, while your United States and Intercontinental Champions sit on the sidelines? Come on. You’re going to have three matches with guys who have a collective three matches (if you count Knoxville’s appearance in the Royal Rumble this year) between them. Rey and Dominik Mysterio will be selling for Paul, Zayn will flail around for Knoxville, and Theory will heel it up against McAfee.

It's overkill, even with two nights of Mania.
