One great surprise would be if Cena returned to WWE just a little bit earlier than planned. And the ideal date for that would be December 13 at TLC... which just so happens to be in Cena's native Boston, Massachusetts! The expectation would be that Cena would get a big pop from his home state, and that's exactly the kind of positive moment WWE would want to bring him back on. The surprise factor and home turf factor instantly makes it blockbuster. As for what WWE would do with him on the show, it would make sense that he cuts a promo to explain his absence and sets out his plans now that he's back.
