With the very biggest narratives starting months in advance, perhaps his return will make clear his direction for the April 3rd megashow. What could be the case is he returns to Raw with a promo to set up his match. He might call someone out, or lay a verbal challenge down to the man he wants to face. This would be the start of his Mania story, meaning it would instantly be big news. It would also make Cena's Mania feud stand out more, as it would be established away from the multitude of feuds that kick off around Royal Rumble to April. By giving it more time, it gives more anticipation.
