There really isn’t a lot of mystery in the outcome of the Women’s Championship match on Sunday. Charlotte is being built up as a huge, dominant heel champion who ultimately will be toppled by the next big babyface (presumably Sasha Banks, if WWE ever remembers that she works there).

But the company has done a nice job of rebuilding Natalya into a credible challenger, to the point where fans are sympathizing with her and would completely buy her winning the title at Extreme Rules. And with Ric Flair banned from ringside (thus removing Charlotte’s biggest asset), you have to wonder how she’s going to retain the title.

It’s a submission match, but WWE already pulled the Montreal Screwjob sendup at Payback, so that option is out. Somehow, Charlotte is going to need to figure out a way to win. Perhaps, just perhaps, she’ll actually stand on her own and win without any shenanigans. Then again…
