4. Are Vaudevillains Just Challengers Du Jour?

The New Day is closing in on holding the WWE Tag Team Championships for 300 consecutive days, having defeated all challengers along the way. The trio is among the most consistently entertaining parts of Raw, even if their previous segments fell flat. And despite holding the tag titles for so long, it doesn’t feel like they’ve quite run out of steam.

All of that raises the question: Are the Vaudevillains just serving as challengers of the month for the tag titles? Will they lose Sunday and quietly drop back down the tag ranks? Maybe they’ll get a second shot at the straps, but they aren’t unseating New Day.

Or, could this be the end of the road for the eaters of Booty O’s? Could WWE actually hotshot the titles over to the Vaudevillains and refocus the tag division? It certainly would feel weird not seeing them as the champs, but it’s going to happen at some point. But Sunday?
