One small possibility for what could happen at Fastlane has already been seen on the smaller stage. It could be that WWE has test-driven a Fastlane finish in NXT. If you follow NXT, then you might have seen the Samoa Joe/Baron Corbin/Sami Zayn triple threat match for the #1 contenders spot. Zayn and Joe both applied submission holds at the same time on Corbin, who tapped out. GM William Regal declared them both co-winners, setting the stage for the two to face each other again to be tapped #1 contender. However, that match ended in a double pin, likely setting up a triple threat title match against NXT Champion Finn Balor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6oiLK8PPb4 Is it possible that WWE was test driving that finish for Fastlane? Its highly unlikely that Brock Lesnar would tap out, but could Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns get a double pin on him (maybe after a Wyatt Family beatdown)? This is really just wild speculation, but the parallels of NXT and WWE running triple threat #1 contender matches just weeks apart is uncanny.
