The clue is in the name, the attire, and the stature. Nobody's doubting that The Queen earned her title, but her in-ring technical skills are a separate entity to her persona, and her persona jars with CM Punk's on just about every level.

Though not directly affiliated with the higher powers of McMahon/Triple H, there is still something very 'corporate' about Charlotte Flair's gimmick, from the bombastic reworking of her father's music, to the flamboyancy of her entrance, and the need to have the ropes parted in her honour. After all, you need to have subjects to be a 'Queen', and a lot of them.

Surely all of these traits warrant, by default, a truck-load of rebelliousness from CM Punk, who can't walk two yards without sneering at anything emitting an air of authority. The amount of supposedly superficial components to Charlotte Flair's attitude and appearance could give Punk an entire episode of criticism to work with. Likewise, once those initial shots are fired, we can only imagine how The Queen would regard Punk in contrast. The venom could run enjoyably deep.
