Perhaps the biggest way that WWE let the Guerrero family down was in the death of Eddie Guerrero. The company was caught flat footed with the sudden and tragic death of Eddie. Vince McMahon didn't really know how to react and it wasn't until the later death of Chris Benoit that he reacted to better protect wrestler health. WWE later relegated the seriousness of Eddie's death to just another foil in their TV drama. Just months after the 38 year old's death and WWE had Randy Orton telling Rey Mysterio that Eddie was in hell. That was deeply distasteful. Yes, WWE is a scripted drama, yes it made you want to see Rey kick Orton's a** (which he did). But is it ever really appropriate to use such an incident in this context? Just months after the greatest Guerrero of them all had died, and WWE were telling viewers he was in hell... that's not right. So, make your own mind up. These are just some of the times that WWE negatively used the Guerrero name. Does Vince have a problem with the famous family?
