One of the feel-good stories of 2004-05 was Eugene Dinsmore managing to win over the unimpressible William Regal, with the wrestlers forming an unlikely duo that won tag gold toward the end of 2004.

Unfortunately, Eugene would suffer an injury just days into 2005, forcing Regal to defend the tag titles with Jonathan Coachman as his tag partner. Yes, seriously. The lucky opponents, La Resistance, would recapture the titles they had lost two months earlier at a Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada house show.

However, La Resistance would go on to lose their titles to Regal and Tajiri less than three weeks later, so victory was fleeting for them.
