11 Off-Air WWE Moments You Weren't Supposed To See
5. Tony Chimel Butchers The English Language

In recent years, long-time WWE ring announcer Tony Chimel has seen something of a demotion, as when Lillian Garcia returned, he went from SmackDown to more minor shows like Main Event. If this old video is to be believed, it may have been with good reason.
Repeatedly during the above "Off The Air" compilation, we see Chimel attempt to record what's called a wildline: An overdub of something he messed up earlier in the show. When the wildline screen comes up on the announcers' monitors, Michael Cole sarcastically remarks that it's a shock that Chimel has to fix something. Chimel repeatedly tries and fails to introduce a gravy bowl match, "uh"ing and "umm"ing throughout, as well as repeatedly referring to the WWF Women's Championship as the "Woman's Championship." Throughout, the announcers are laughing their asses out.
Later on, there's a video of Chimel talking backstage, but it's almost impossible to follow because it's constantly being fast-forwarded and rewound. Some have speculated he was being tried in the locker room's "wrestler court," but that's just a guess. All we know is that he ends up with a clothespin hanging from his crotch at the end and it's kind of disturbing.
