11. The Sting Match Has Passed

The first thing that should be said is that The Undertaker versus Sting match would have been ideal... if it had been one year ago. At the juncture of WrestleMania 32, it is no longer viable. The reason for that is mainly down to Triple H pinning Sting at WrestleMania 31. It killed the value of Sting's draw and made it tricky to book any potential Sting Mania 32 match. If he does return, he'll have to be going over. That then makes it hard to book the Taker bout, as fans won't buy that Sting is going 0 - 2 in his only WWE matches. There's also the argument that Sting and Taker couldn't match up due to their age and physical limitations. A younger opponent is needed and it needs to be someone who can generate as much excitement as Sting Vs Taker would've drawn. The man for the job is Kevin Owens.
