11 Solutions To Fix WWE's Failing Divas Revolution

3. Stop Over-Thinking It

A big problem with the revolution is that every one from the creative team to the women have been over-thinking it. There's no need for it to be shoved in the face and force fed, the story should be allowed to unfold naturally. Just look at NXT, where the wrestling does the talking. The action told the story that these women were game changers. But on the main roster, it is the announcers telling the story, telling you what to think. The lack of subtle narrative is ruining it. Getting told to "#DivasRevolution" and hearing comparisons to Serena Williams is just patronising. It is like WWE are so desperate to tell the story, that they're not letting the characters show the story. There's no need for all the bells and whistles they are attaching to the narrative, they are over-thinking and need to just let the wrestling get the points over.
