11 Talented Wrestlers Who Felt Forced To Quit WWE

2. Chyna

Professional wrestling is a weird business, but few things behind the scenes have been as weird and downright awful as the situation that Chyna found herself in on the way out of the WWF. She originally joined the company in 1997 by the side of her real life boyfriend HHH, and became a popular member of D-Generation X. Tremendously strong and a bit mysterious, she stood out in a way that few others have. She began quickly breaking down barriers in the sport by becoming the first woman to capture the Intercontinental Title, and the first to compete in the Royal Rumble. Her star was rising, and she was perhaps on the way to becoming the biggest female performer the company had ever seen. Then, she found out HHH was cheating on her, and it all fell apart. Fast. It wasn€™t just that Hunter was seeing another woman behind Chyna€™s back, he was with the boss's daughter! Who was she going to complain to about that? She was put in an impossible situation, and it would have been impossible for her to have kept her job and have everything return to normal. In 2001, she quietly vacated the women€™s title, didn€™t re-sign with the company, and has not appeared a single time in WWE since.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
