11 Things We Learned From NXT TakeOver: The End

5. Shinsuke Nakamura Is Money

The internet is full of hyperbole when it comes to professional wrestling and the men and women who put their bodies on the line for our entertainment. With that in mind, I don't think anyone can disagree with the statement that Shinsuke Nakamura is a once-in-a-lifetime talent. If we're allowing the existence of some intangible 'IT Factor', then anyone unsure as to what it looks like needs to take a glance at the King of Strong Style.

From the moment it was clear that Nakamura and Aries were about to do battle, the Full Sail crowd was alive in their support for the Japanese superstar. Everything about him screams 'superstar', and those who doubted whether his charisma and style would translate to the WWE environment are now looking rather silly.

By defeating Austin Aries Nakamura has put himself at the front of the line when it comes to the NXT Championship, but surely the main roster beckons sooner rather than later.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
