11 Things We Learned From Shawn Michaels On The Ross Report

11. Getting Clean

After some brief opening discussion about the book and how it center's on Shawn's faith, Ross asks if there was a specific moment in his life when he knew it was time to make a change. Shawn responds that while he was out with his back injury, he was home with his son and realized he was getting to the age where he could tell when his father was inebriated. He said the thought crushed him and that was the day when the shame and humiliation became too much for him to bear. He went cold turkey, got up out of bed the next day and went to church to find his faith. From that day forward he's been clean and on the wagon. He's says the most important focus of his life is now on being a better father and husband.
