Much like booking the triple threat match between The Shield on a random summer pay-per-view, WWE well and truly messed up another of the big stories it was keeping up its sleeve. Ever since his arrival in the company, Bray Wyatt has been cryptically talking about the mysterious Sister Abigail. Little was known about Abigail, but her eventual reveal was sure to be a huge moment in the history of WWE.

Or at least, it should have been.

Despite having her remains burned to a crisp by Randy Orton, Sister Abigail remained a key part of Bray Wyatt’s act all the way through his lamentable summer feuds with Seth Rollins and Finn Bálor. It was the Irishman who seemed to have pushed Bray to the edge, however, and the time had come to reveal Sister Abigail.

It turned out to be Bray Wyatt with a sack over his head and his voice distorter. Wyatt has been involved in some lame things over the past couple of years, but this took the proverbial biscuit. The reveal of Sister Abigail was one of the most disappointing and embarrassing reveals in WWE history, up there with the Gobbledy Gooker and everything that Hornswoggle ended up being.
