Much like Shawn Michaels before him, Randy Orton wasn't afraid to vent his dissatisfaction in the ring should things not exactly go according to plan.

The first of two notable instances of this happening on WWE television - the second of which we'll cover soon enough - came back in 2009 during a match involving the L.A. Lakers and Denver Nuggets...yes, a wrestling match.

The contest pitted the babyface team of Batista, John Cena, MVP, Jerry Lawler, & Mr. Kennedy (Lakers) against a heelish unit consisting of The Miz, Legacy, Big Show, & Randy Orton (Nuggets). Yet, from underneath the lighthearted basketball-themed nonsense seen on the surface, some very real resentment between two of the competing stars would emerge.

After being dropped awkwardly on his back mid-match, 'The Viper' instantly lost control, thrashing at the ground and hurling abuse at the wrestler responsible - Mr. Kennedy. Orton would nail Kennedy with an RKO post-match, but the true damage would be done backstage as the petulant 'Apex Predator' joined forces with John Cena to get the loudmouth Kennedy banished from the company.
