11 Unusual Ways To Win A WWE Gimmick Match

11. Fatal Four Way: Unintentional Pin

Scoring a pin in a Fatal Four Way match is a difficult task, when you consider that firstly, the person could kick-out, as well as the fact that there's two other people who can break up any attempt you make. Somehow during a Fatal Four Way contest, John Cena managed to not only get a pinfall win, but he did it completely unintentionally. In the final moments of a Fatal Four Way match between WWE Champion John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge & Shawn Michaels, chaos ensued and the match descended into a finisher-fest, as each man tried to get the win. It started with Orton attempting an RKO on Cena, who shoved him off into a Spear from Edge. Cena then AA'd Edge, and was then instantly hit with Sweet Chin Music from Michaels. HBK fell to the mat after the move. Everyone was down, but a knocked out Cena fell back onto Orton. Even though he was unaware of it, Cena was technically pinning Orton. The referee counted the three, and he was declared the winner - without even knowing that he was.
