11 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Jan 29)

8. The Right Target

The Dark Order
AEW

The Dark Order were back on our screens after missing last week's show. Fortunately, their spot was brief, simple, to the point, and not at all disruptive.

Evil Uno and his gang of goobers hit the big screen to let Christopher Daniels know that their Exalted One wasn't happy with him. As a result, he'd told Uno, Grayson, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds to target CD's friends, family, and brothers in SoCal Uncensored. This, Uno claimed, was Daniel's first warning, and Grayson said he didn't care who they'd target first.

The segment ended with a snap of Uno's fingers, leaving 'The Fallen Angel' all at sea. Going after him as a recruit makes sense. Post-Pentagon botch, Daniels' character arc has been all about the perception that he's a spent force between the ropes. He is, in kayfabe, SCU's biggest loser, and hey, The Dark Order actually felt threatening here. That's another gentle positive.
