11 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Nov 25)

Jon Moxley DESTROYS Kenny Omega, Cody gets personal with Taz, and Hangman Page meets John Silver.

If not for one troublesome segment, this would have been the best regular episode of AEW Dynamite all year, as the promotion delivered an excellently sequenced night of hot angles, banger matches, and great, great promos, particularly towards the card's upper echelons.

Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley had a second go-around of their contract signing ahead of 2 December's big World Championship match. Last week's attempt couldn't happen, as Mox was ambushed backstage, and while the newly-christened 'Violent Gentleman' spent part of his night searching for a culprit, Winter is Coming was his primary concern on Dynamite. Omega vs. Mox II needed a hot go-home angle - and it got one.

Elsewhere, there were significant developments in Team Taz's ongoing war with Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin, as 'The American Nightmare' made things personal with the former ECW Champion. A new player entered the feud between Death Triangle and Eddie Kingston's family, joining the fray after a bruising main event, while Hikaru Shida's next Women's World Title challenger made herself known further down the lineup.

Can AEW pop one million viewers next week? It's a tall task, but they nailed the go-home show, and outdoing NXT in the Wednesday Night Wars is pretty much a given at this point anyway.

Let's light the fuse...
