11 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 10)

3. Acey Baby

After making his official Impact Wrestling debut as part of the X Division Championship match at Bound For Glory, Acey Romero made his television debut this week against Moose, who thankfully returned to his wrestling boots instead of running around doing every sport under the sun. When you first see him, Acey may look like an oaf seeing as he's a bigger lad, but he shines bright under those lights when the bell rings.

Once the action picked up, it was clear to see why Scott D'Amore offered Romero that Impact contract during October. He's one of only a few men who's ever been able to overpower Moose, sending him flying across the ring with a pounce. Obviously, a pounce from Acey Romero looks far better when done on smaller guys (cc: Marko Stunt at AEW Double or Nothing), however, an impressive move nonetheless.

Even though 'Mr Impact Wrestling' scored the win here after running through Acey with his Hitstick spear, the real winner was the Impact newcomer. He got the opportunity to show everyone exactly what he's all about by hanging with a star the calibre of Moose. Acey may be 0-2 in his official Impact career at the time of writing, but don't let that fool you, he'll send you flying across the venue with that pounce if you get on his bad side.
