11 Ups & 4 Downs From ALL IN 2018

4. A Breathtaking Conclusion

It's disappointing that the six-man main event was cut short, because these ridiculously talented performers were well on their way to concocting a classic spotfest before the curtain came down. Regardless, we still got an excellent lucha tag, and a myriad of gif-worthy moments to boot.

Everyone dazzled. Bandido walked in as the least well-known performer in the bout, but will leave Chicago with thousands of new fans. His offence is slick, his swagger palpable, and his athleticism off the charts. The 23-year-old is now all set to become a huge global superstar, and he didn't look out of place among some of the best wrestlers in the world, starring in a number of the bout's biggest set pieces, including an awesome corkscrew dive.

The Young Bucks brought their working boots, performing to ALL IN's massive stage with a typically cohesive showing. Kota Ibushi, fresh off an MVP G1 Climax run, walked out with a crazed look in his eyes and proceeded to rule the ring whenever he was tagged in. Rey Fenix took the breath away with one of the most outrageous rope-run spots you'll ever see, and as for Rey Mysterio? He was Rey f*cking Mysterio, all 619's, Frog Splashes, and big dives, holding nothing back despite rumours of an imminent WWE return.

Bandido ate More Bank For Young Buck and a Meltzer Driver for the finish. A predictable outcome, but the action preceding it was breathtaking.
