11 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 24)

Alex Shelley is back from injury. Praise the lords.
He and Motor City Machine Guns pal Chris Sabin spoke to Gia Miller backstage, where Shelley gave us an update on the condition of his neck, before the former World Tag Team Champions laid out a three-step plan for their immediate future in Impact; XXXL, The North, and finally, The Good Brothers. They know they can't just demand a title opportunity (even though they do still technically have their obligatory championship rematch to use), and so are pulling out all the stops to ensure they're deserving of their title match should it arise.
Solid stuff here. Booking Sabin and Shelley against Acey Romero and Larry D was an obvious choice once Shelley had returned, but what came next remained unclear. Laying out such a plan is a minor thing, but it helps the story make sense. Sometimes, the most simple booking is the most effective.
