11 Ups & 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Jul 2)

2. Back To Square One

Last week finally brought some development in Aleister Black's tedious little world, with a mystery assailant answering the Dutchman's calls to knock on his door and pick a fight.

Except they didn't.

Whoever it was did knock, but, as revealed last night, there was nobody there when Black answered. Thus, we're back to square one. These nonsense promos continue down the same old road, and this week's was no better than those that have populated the Downs section of this column for the past month or so.

Aleister challenged the mystery man to meet him at Extreme Rules. Everyone needs to move on from this, so here's hoping it's a proper resolution.
