2. Ziggler Vs. Woods Delivers

Dolph Ziggler is no more than another capable performer being let down by sh*tty creative, and he proved it in his match with Xavier Woods.

Though WWE's restrictions meant 'The Show-Off' could never come good on his promise to put Woods on the shelf, he showed a strong mean streak throughout, working a sharper, more precise offensive style than usual. Xavier had his moments, but this was all about Dolph. He controlled long portions, putting Xavier into the ring post, Superkicking him off the apron, and twisting his arm around the top rope, with the commentators putting him over as a more focused, driven competitor.

It was good, solid stuff, and it all wrapped up with Ziggler Superkicking Woods out of his boots for the pinfall, firing a big warning shot in Kofi Kingston's direction.

Selling Ziggler as a main eventer is tough, given how his last few years have gone. Regardless, moments like this show he can still play a role, and it'll be interesting to see where WWE take him after the Kingston feud expires.
