11 Ups & 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Jun 18)

Downs...

7. Get To The Point

The Ember Moon vs. Sonya Deville/Mandy Rose rivalry kicked off with a Nintendo Switch-destroying segment so insignificant it wasn't worth mentioning last week. Yesterday, the feud continued as 'The Shenom' searched for the former Absolution duo, found them right under her nose, interrupted their donut-eating session, then found herself bantered off and enraged.

Rose claimed they smashed the Switch so that Moon could focus on more productive endeavours. This went down predictably poorly, and their brawl was quickly pulled apart by referees.

It looks like WWE are setting up Sonya and Mandy vs. Ember and Carmella here, as 'The Princess of Staten Island' was milling around at the start of the segment. Regardless, they've got to stop portraying Moon like a little crybaby. Yes, she should be upset, but the way they're scripting her makes a mockery of the hyper-athletic in-ring badass she was in NXT.
