What in the blue hell was that?

So after walking out on SmackDown last month days after winning the United States Championship, forcing a tournament for the vacant title, Dolph Ziggler returned unceremoniously at the Royal Rumble, entering at #30 and immediately launching a superkick party.

He managed to toss Goldust before being eliminated by Finn Balor about 90 seconds after he entered. And that was that for the Showoff.

So what the hell was the point of that? Sure, there’s a good chance we’ll get an answer of some sort on SmackDown, but that just seemed like a huge waste.
