6. Matt Morgan

Another former-WWE wrestler who really came into their own in TNA, Matt Morgan was seemingly continually on the cusp of greatness there.

He was an easy-moving big man who could give promos for days and had unreal strength, which frequently made one question why he got saddled with the ludicrous stuttering gimmick in WWE.

Despite teasing it on oh so many occasions, TNA just refused to pull the trigger on Morgan as a monster heel champion/high energy babyface champion.

In his six years with the company Morgan didn't win a single championship, and his story arc seemed stuck on 'team with other singles wrestler, split up, feud'.

Matt Morgan was a great talent that TNA just didn't believe in enough to get behind.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
