11 Wrestlers You Didn't Know Were In TNA

2. The Road Warriors

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJsdiuLXEUc When fans think of the Road Warriors, they probably think of them absolutely dominating their opponents in the NWA, the AWA, WCW or the WWF. Their time in TNA is mostly forgotten. Was it a rush to see them in their new company? Meh, it was more mildly interesting than anything. That's probably being too generous. While the legendary team ran roughshod over every territory they stepped foot in during the 1980s, age started to catch up to them. Since their gimmick was based on overpowering their opponents, when that power started to fade, so did their popularity. The WWF let them go in 1999 after a pretty embarrassing final call which saw an alcoholic Hawk (ohhhh what a lush?) attempting to commit suicide. The two showed up in TNA in 2002 to help out Dusty Rhodes and Jeff Jarrett battle Triple X and Vince Russo. As a side note, Animal decided to wear a singled that night for reasons that will never be known. Okay, so it was probably to cover up his gut. Unfortunately, due to the interference of Mr. Wrestling IV, the Road Warriors lost the match. Ohhhhhh what a disappointment!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
