11 Wrestlers You Didn't Know Were In TNA

7. Test

In 2004, Andrew €œTest€ Martin was let go from WWE while recuperating from spinal fusion surgery. He didn€™t return until 2006 where he now looked more ridiculously muscular than ever. His physical appearance should have raised red flags to anyone who saw him, but instead he was rewarded with a nice, big push in ECW. To the surprise of no one paying attention, he failed a wellness policy test and soon left the company. Six months passed and Martin showed up in TNA and somehow looked even bigger. It just made TNA look careless that they would hire someone with such obvious problems. But such is life in TNA. On-air, he joined up with Sting and Abyss to take on A.J. Styles, Christian and Tomko at Hard Justice 2007 in a Doomsday Chamber of Blood match! Yeah, I have no idea what that match is either. It was one and done for Martin in TNA. After the pay-per-view, someone finally came to their senses and told him they couldn€™t have him on the roster due to his physique. Congress was looking into professional wrestling at the time due to the Benoit murders, and TNA obviously didn€™t want the attention. They let him go, but unfortunately Martin never cleaned up. He passed away two years later at the age of 34.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
