5. Roddy Piper
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Uyr8wnHpT0 Roddy Piper is a WWE Hall of Famer, a minor movie star, and one of the most successful heels of all time. To the surprise of many, Piper showed up in TNA a few times. In the early days of the company, he had a couple Pipers Pit interviews...er, actually In the Pit With Piper segments (trademark issues) in TNA, and even brought in his old rival Jimmy Snucka for one of them. At the time, it was pretty cool to see Piper in the smaller company, but he didnt really help get anyone else over while there. It was all about self promotion. In fact, he actually really buried someone for all the wrong reasons. One night in 2003, Piper had it out for Vince Russo. TNA officials thought that Piper was going to talk about his book, when he went to the ring with one of his anonymous male assistants (former TNA employee and reality TV star Jonny Fairplay also had this gig for awhile). Piper quickly went off script and called out Russo, who hed only worked for briefly in WCW. He got ridiculously out of line and accused him of killing Owen Hart. It was uncomfortable and obviously had nothing to do with the rest of the show or any angle that was going on. If you remember Piper at all in TNA it's probably due to that night. Fun fact: During Piper's promo he lambasted WWEs style of entertainment, referencing a man in a thong sticking his butt in other peoples faces (Rikishi). He said there wasnt enough money for him to do something like that. So what did he do when he went back to WWE the next year? Yep. He took a Stinkface.
Andrew Soucek
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
