11 Wrestling Legends Who Became WWE NXT Trainers
9. Nick Dinsmore
Nick Dinsmore was a record eight-time Ohio Valley Wrestling Heavyweight Champion before making the step up to WWE's main roster in 2004, and - well, you know what happened next.
But here's a reminder, anyway. He was lumbered with the mantle of being Eric Bischoff's special nephew, Eugene.
And whilst fighting SummerSlam matches against Triple H and Kurt Angle is the stuff of wrestling hopefuls' wildest dreams, you couldn't help but come away with the feeling that the potential he showed in his developmental days was left unfulfilled.
Dinsmore returned to WWE in 2013 in a trainer capacity, a role he remained in for just over 12 months before departing the following year. And, well, it can't have been easy for him to command the respect of the rookies.
