11 Wrestling Legends Who Became WWE NXT Trainers
7. Bill DeMott
Former WCW star Bill DeMott was the head honcho in WWE's variously named training divisions for more than four years before allegations of bullying led to his resignation in 2015 (allegations which, in the interest of balance, he has strenuously denied).
Hearsay remains, for now, just that - but, however his eventual departure came about, the 50-year-old must have had some pedigree as a teacher to land the role in the first place.
After all, the time he spent in front of the WWE cameras didn't exactly put him in the running for the Hall of Fame, ending with some awkward knock-knock jokes and a stint on the Velocity commentary table just a couple of years after he made the jump from Ted Turner's crumbling empire in 2001.
