11 WWE Royal Rumble Statistics You Need To Know

8. First And Last

Interestingly, several superstars have drawn both #1 and #30 in their careers. It almost seems like a running gag in some cases, with a wrestler drawing #30 one year, only to enter first the following year. Ted DiBiase was the first to pull off this €œhonor,€ in 1989-90. Rikishi also went #30-#1 in back-to-back years, 2001-02. And Undertaker did the same in 2007-08. Additionally, Crush drew #30 in 1995 and then pulled #1 in 1997. Dolph Ziggler drew #1 twice (2010 and 2013) and then pulled #30 last year. Rey Mysterio was the first entrant in 2009 and then the last man in the 2014 Rumble. (He also drew #2 the year he won the Rumble, in 2006.) And Ric Flair sandwiched a #30 entry (in 2005) in between his two #1 entrances (1993 and 2007). WWE could add to this list this year if Ryback, Kane or Big Show (all active wrestlers who have been the last man in a Rumble) enter first, or if Miz draws #30. Additionally, if the rumor mill is correct and Triple H is a surprise entrant and he is #30 (or #31 if the Authority pulls some shenanigans), then he would also join this list.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
