8. American Alpha
American Alpha are by far one of the WWE's fastest-rising assets right now, and they could sure as hell could use a theme that sells that a little better. Instead, they've got an incredibly cringe-worthy and minimalist theme that's hard to get pumped up about. The trumpets are embarrassing (save that for John Cena!), and the rest of it just sounds dull and forgettable. It in many ways epitomises a low-effort, cheap NXT theme.
And now the question remains: would it be too on-the-nose if they instead had a version of Kurt Angle's WWE theme? Probably, but the crowd would still give it an insane pop (even once they realised Angle wasn't coming out).
