11 WWE Wrestlers Who Lived The Gimmick In Real Life

9. Brock Lesnar

The gimmick:

Brock Lesnar’s character on WWE television is something of a misanthrope. His appearances are few and far between, and even when he does show up he’d rather have his advocate, Paul Heyman, handle all the talking for him.

Granted, he’ll get his hands dirty when necessary, although again he tends to make short work of it. A flurry of suplexes and the odd F5 are usually all it takes before he’s heading home and clocking off for the night.

That being said, he’s still a total badass who’ll think nothing of tearing the door off your brand-new Cadillac…

In real life:

It seems Brock Lesnar the character is just as misanthropic as Brock Lesnar the person.

Outside of the ring, he lives on a remote farm in Canada and generally keeps himself to himself, with the blurb of his book, Death Clutch, signing off with “this one time, and this one time only, you are invited to join me in my private world for a few hours. Just don’t ever expect another invitation.”

Oh, and he also backs up the total badass act, having won the UFC Heavyweight Championship in just his fourth-ever MMA fight.
