11 WWE Wrestlers Who Worked The Most Matches In 2015

Who was the hardest working wrestler?

The wrestler with the most matches in a year is always deserving of respect. It is proof of skill, appeal, and most importantly, durability. Decades ago, Ric Flair prided himself on how many matches he'd work, sometimes doing two bouts a day in afternoon and evening shows. While no schedule was as gruelling as that in 2015, the WWE season is still a punishing one. Getting to be the man with the most matches is as much about survival. With several bouts per a week, all the gym work, all the travel, it adds up to make the physical toll on a WWE superstar immense. Several injuries occurred across the roster in the last year, meaning this year's most worked list is looking very different. Then you've got the wrestlers like John Cena who had periods of inactivity. No one would doubt he works as hard as anyone in WWE, but he doesn't even get anywhere near this list, with just 136 matches in 2015.

11. Sin Cara - 167 Matches

Sin Cara is perhaps a surprising name to see so high on this list with 167 matches, but consider just how active The Lucha Dragons were in 2015. Then there's all the singles bouts he contested, with his brand still holding some appeal to the younger audience. He even featured at WrestleMania 31, in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. What WWE like about him, is that he offers reliable mid-card filler. Put him in the ring and he can give a few minutes of thrills. Even more than that, The Lucha Dragons were key to one of WWE's best matches of 2015, in the crash and burn ladder match thriller versus The Usos versus The New Day at TLC.
