If we ignore his Philadelphia-infuriating 2015 victory, Roman Reigns really is the Tim Henman of the Royal Rumble, earning the runners-up medal on no fewer than four occasions after Sunday's latest failure.

The Big Dog was dumped by the winner in each of 2014, 2017, and 2018 before last night. It means he's now stumbled at the last hurdle twice as many times as his nearest chokers, bringing him well out of sight of The Big Show, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and John Cena. Reigns finished in third place on his only other Rumble outing (he missed 2019 through illness), so it's not a terrible record all things told.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
