The tag match between The Bellas and the team of Naomi and Tamina was one of those matches that didn't appear to have any purpose whatsoever. Alicia Fox accompanied Nikki and Brie following her antics on SmackDown, while the Diva falling foul of her interference in that match, Paige, was nowhere to be seen. The bout might have made some sense in storyline terms if Alicia had become involved and cost Naomi and Tamina the match, but a simple misunderstanding between those two was what handed The Bellas the win. Naomi and Tamina have no more reason to aid Paige's efforts to topple The Bellas than they did before. JBL did inform the WWE Universe on commentary that he doesn't know what the rest of the Divas are thinking, because he doesn't hang around the Divas locker room. Apart from that, we learned absolutely nothing.
As a long-time WWE fan, I have always enjoyed watching men pretend to beat each other up while wearing spandex. Extra points for facepaint, none for tassels.
I love all things sci-fi. If there's a 'Star' somewhere in the title, I'll probably dig it.
